MY STORY
Hello, I am Anita Blackwell.
My personal journey began in the UK where the foundation of my life script began, growing up on a dairy farm with my parents, older brothers and sister, my passions being sport, nature and a healthy outdoors lifestyle.
This passion took me first to the United States, where I worked as a lifeguard at the summer camps, this is when my lifelong travel bug started, and eventually, I settled in Australia.
My experiences in Sydney ranged from working with children on cruise ships, to being a fitness instructor, and competing in triathlons and Ironman events.
After moving to Perth, Western Australia, I became a flight attendant, met my husband and had a child. My own history of familial attachment challenges, pregnancy issues and mental health enabled me to recognise the importance of the link between physical and mental health.
This led me to embark on a significant career change, commencing my studies toward being a counsellor, with the aim to help others improve their own life journey.
